This race showcases some of the most remote and challenging terrain in the Pacific Northwest from Volcano desolation zone to lava fields to deep, dark, dank old growth forests with trees that seem to touch the stars, ridge line trails Native Americans used to traverse the mountains, and peak bagging - three peaks with 360 degree views. This is our original 200 mile race and our most popular! We sell out each year with 250 runners. Circumnavigate iconic Lake Tahoe on trial through three national forests, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Granite peaks, and the Tahoe Rim Trail!
2020 Lottery registration opens Oct 15 and ends Oct 29. We have sold out the past 3 years and this year we will hold a lottery. You can register between Oct 15 and 29. 250 runners will get in on Nov 1. The remaining applicants will be put on a waitlist.

The 100k: Sept 12, 2020

Saturday, September 8, 6:30 A.M. Spooner Trailhead to Sierra at Tahoe Resort: The Tahoe 100k is a point to point exploration of the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Tahoe Basin. The route will take you on a magical journey from the east side of Lake Tahoe along the Rim Trail, through the mountains with views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevadas on a smooth, almost entirely single track, course surrounded by granite and grandeur. 18 hour cut off. 

The 25k: Sept 13, 2020

The Tahoe 25k is a fun and challenging race that starts at the base of Homewood Mountain Resort and travels all the way to Ellis Peak and Barker Pass. If you love vert, this is the race for you! Homewood has some of the best and most expansive views of Lake Tahoe - the largest alpine lake in the USA. Other jaw-dropping views include Crystal Basin, Loon Lake and the Desolation Wilderness.

The Tahoe 200 is the largest 200 mile race in the USA and second largest in the world. The race fully circumnavigates Lake Tahoe using the iconic Tahoe Rim Trail, rated as one of the top trails in the world! Tahoe 200 was the first ever 200 mile single loop mountain race in the United States. The route goes through two states and three national forest through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The route occasionally detours off the TRT to explore aspen meadows, rock gardens of giants, small impossibly blue lakes, thick canopied forests, and long ridge lines with stunning views. The course is nothing less than magical.

The Bigfoot 200 traverses the Cascade Mountains and is the first point to point 200 mile trail race in the United States. The course traverses some of the most stunning, wild, remote and scenic trails in the Cascade Mountain range of Washington State. The race starts at Mt. St. Helens running through the desolation zone of this active volcano, over long ridge lines, high cliffs, bagging peaks, with views of some of the biggest volcanoes in Washington State: Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Oregon's Mt. Hood. The route is 206.5 miles with more than 50,000 feet of ascent and over 96,000 feet of elevation change. You won't find a more challenging 200mi race in the USA if you're looking for steep ascents, technical trails and remote terrain. We also offer a 100k, 40mile and 20 mile option! The Moab 240 is a 238.3 mile footrace through the Utah desert, canyons, slick rock, two mountain ranges surrounded by Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Bellingham Trail Marathon & Half

The BTM is a stunning mix of trail running in Bellingham with lots of tough climbs on single track trails as well as fast interurban trails and a short road section. With over 5,000 feet of climbing, it is one of the toughest marathons in Washington! The race connects two of the most popular trail systems, Lake Padden and Chuckanut Mountain. Runners will enjoy lake and forest views of the city of Bellingham, the Cascade Mountain range, and Bellingham Bay from the Chuckanut Ridge. All finishers get a custom made medal and catered post race meal.

Run past the serene Fragrance Lake, and when you think it can't get any better, you'll run through fields of sword fern and soak in all hues of green on the Rock Trail while running past towering rock faces and rocks as big as houses through a magical green forest above Lost Lake. You might even see a forest fairy or two, it's that magical.
Half Marathon
The course also traverses the scenic and super technical Ridge Trail with views of the Cascade Mountains. This is no ordinary Half Marathon.  It's tough with 3,300 feet of vert and almost entirely single track trails (except for at the start, which helps to spread people out before they hit single track).  We'll have our usual post race festivities: a post race meal, local brews, and an awards ceremony!  
The 50k course explores Chuckanut Mountain, Raptor Ridge, Pine and Cedar Trails & lakes and long and technical ridges. If you like climbing on smooth single track, you will love this route! The 50k has around 7k of climbing. Aid stations are about 5 miles apart, however there is a 9 mile section with no aid so please carry enough food/water/extra clothing! February weather can be cold and wet and occasionally we get snow - please be prepared for anything. ​

​The trail races explore Moran State Park's many mountain lakes, wooded single track trails, and the 2,409 foot Mount Constitution on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. The trails offer views of the Cascade Mountain range to the East, surrounding islands, and American and Canadian cities. You can see Mount Baker dominating the skyline with its snow capped top rising out of the Cascades. A bank of clouds below the rocky cliff as you summit Mt. Constitution and green islands rising through the clouds like rocks in a wild sea make this race one of the most stunning trail 50 miler/ half and full marathons in the Pacific Northwest. On the summit, there stands a stone observation tower built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936. The tower offers panoramic views of the sea, islands, mainland, and the Cascades.
